Garland is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Garland is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I gave this company 1 star rating because we had the worst experience this weekend with the owner Chida, who has refused to talk to us when we go to the shop and he won't answer our calls either. Our truck got water in the diesel tank and we asked him to clean up the fuel system. Some DPF codes came up due to this water issue. We wanted to restore DPF but he informed us that they din't do that at his shop. He told us instead of going somewhere else to get it fixed, he'll fix it and give us 1 year or 200000 miles warranty on it. He stated it was an easy fix. Unfortunately we fell for this trick. He told us cleaning the fuel system and fixing the DPF would cost $2000 out the door. Unfortunately we fell for this deal. So he started working on the truck on Thursday. He then called us and told us that one of the DPF filters was totally damaged and we had to replace it. He stated that he had called southwest international trucks and they informed him that it costs $3000. He stated they didn't know what they were saying since he knows that it's much cheaper than that. He told us he was going to southwest to get the right price and he would let us know. We told him that we were not

I had a tire blowout on the interstate on Semi and Loves Roadside quoted a 6 hour wait. I contacted Garland Truck & Trailer repair and spoke to Mr. Chida. He was friendly and professional and was able to come out right away to get my tire changed (Drive Tire). Thank you Garland Truck and Trailer Repair for your quick service and reasonable rate for roadside!

Good diesel Truck mechanic shop. After getting ripped off by E2 fleet that broke our Truck just to make money. We got it towed here. Chida is a good truck mechanic that took care of us. Fast and efficient. I will highly recommend. I do not know what is wrong with the state of Texas but we got ripped off by many shops and scammed losing thousands in the process. In Northern VA (DC) area we have many honest mechanic shops.. Owner works on trucks as well so you know he is committed on getting the job done! Thank you Sir for taking care of us and not screwing us over like the rest of them.
